Educational Psychology
The Educational Psychology program is from the Department of Educational Psychology in the College of Education.
This degree trains individuals to:
- design experiments,
- analyze and interpret data, and
- evaluate programs in the field of education and mental health.
It also prepares students to find employment in a variety of applied settings.

Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree: Completion of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Academic Preparation: Successful completion of prerequisite coursework in calculus, linear algebra, and introductory statistics. Additional coursework in probability or mathematical statistics is recommended.
- GPA Requirement: A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- English Language Proficiency: For international applicants, proof of English proficiency (e.g., TOEFL or IELTS scores) is required unless waived by the university.
- Letters of Recommendation: Typically, two to three letters from academic or professional references who can speak to your qualifications and potential for graduate study.
- Statement of Purpose: A written statement outlining your academic background, research interests, and reasons for pursuing a master’s degree in statistics.
- Resume or CV: A current resume or curriculum vitae highlighting academic achievements, research experience, and relevant work or projects.
