What are the pre-requisistes for admission?

• Minimum combined score of 1200 on the GRE

  • Must score at least 600 on the quantitative portion of the GRE

• Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 is required

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

• 2 semesters of calculus

• 2 semesters of basic statistics

• International applicants must also include official TOEFL scores
  

How long does it take to complete the Sociology track coursework?

The Sociology Track is designed for full-time students to complete in two years.

How many faculty are associated with the Sociology track?

There are currently 5 faculty members from the Department of Sociology who work closely with Sociology Track students.

What kind of financial assistance is available to Sociology track students?

The Department of Sociology is generally unable to offer teaching assistantships to MStat students.
